Help Guide: SIMS Student Setup
SIMS Student is accessible via invitation only. When you join Gladesmore you will be invited to the Capita SIMS Student platform.
You will receive an email from noreply@sims.co.uk with the Subject 'Gladesmore Community School Invites you to SIMS Student'. This email invitation will go to your @gladesmorestudent.com email inbox.
2. Click Accept Invitation
Click Accept Invitation to begin the SIMS Student setup process
3. Select Register with an External Account
Click Register with an External Account.
Majority of your Gladesmore online services are attached to your Google account - always select Sign in with Google when signing-in to any such service.
4. Select the Google Icon
Click Sign in with Google. Majority of your Gladesmore online services are attached to your Google account - always select Sign in with Google when signing-in to any such service.
5. Login to your School Email
At the Sign in with Google page, sign in using your school email. The first part of the email will be your school PC username followed by @gladesmorestudent.com
Click Next and then enter your school email password.
Click Next after entering your password.
6. Check your details and click Register and enter your Invitation Code
On the SIMS Student Registration page check your details are correct then click Register
7. Enter your Date of Birth and click Verify
On the Security Answer Questions page enter your Date of Birth (DoB) in the following format: dd/mm/yyyy
For example if your DoB is 1st of January 2001 then enter it as 01/01/2001
click Verify to complete
8. Completed Registration
You have now completed the SIMS Student Registration when you see the page similar to the screen on the right you are ready to go.
Don't forget, you can get the SIMS Student App for your Android or Apple iOS Smartphone. Click on the below link relative to you.
The setup is straightforward, all you have to do is sign in with your school email.
